Explination: Patience is Virtue...

except when you are waiting for a phone call.....

OK, so, a lil while back, Hubby pulled into a port. The calls back and forth that the guys were somewhere was exciting and made me anticipate my call....then I waited, and I waited, and I WAITED!!!

At one point, I was so hurt and stuff that I actually was threatening to my friends that Hubby was going to lose access to an ATM for the rest of his port calls. Yep. I got really really mad. Especially hearing that my hubby's co-workers were calling their wives multiple, yes MULTIPLE times. And all I had gotten was a large withdrawral from the bank that was more than it was supposed to be (Apparently Hubby doesn't understand exchange rates).

nearly 3/4 of a day passed....

Then I got my call. It was a lovely 45 minute call that for the first 10 minutes consisited of me verbally tearing Hubby a new opening in his backside. (it's Sunday, I'm trying not to be too crude). Yeah....

So another day and a half (35 hours to be exact, which sounds like a lot heh) passes and although I was much calmer this time around, I started wondering if Hubby was gonna call again this time around. He did thankfully, and I enjoyed a lovely, almost hour on the phone. All in all not too bad considering My Hubby is actually doing more than some of the others because he's good like that -- and some other reasons, but most of you would be lost and I can't explain specifics about the boat anyway....so just know, Hubby is working more than most, but my phone calls have been very long one shots, and honestly I like it better that way. I get a quality conversation with him.....pretty doggone nice.

So that's why my post was a little odd the other day. Thought you'd all like to know.....

and now that we are all so Happy again....

11 DAYS UNTIL MY BIRTHDAY!!!

Somebody said it was eleven days until your birthday is that true?
A good phone call is worth a hundred letters.
